Obedience Training.
Obedience training usually refers to the training of a dog, and the term is most commonly used in that context. Obedience training ranges from very basic training, such as teaching the dog to reliably respond to basic commands such as "sit", "down", "come", and "stay", to high level competition within clubs where additional commands, accuracy and performance are scored and judged.
Details of our current training classes:
1. Mondays for 6 weeks, starting from 9th July.
6.30 pm Puppies
7.30 pm Beginners 1
8.30 pm Beginners 2
2. Thursdays, starting from 5th July.
Courses will start again on Thursday 6th September and Monday 17th September.
Progression award courses are also available at the club.
Each level will take six-week's to complete. Handlers must successfully complete each level in order to move out of their class.
At the end of the course, there will be a test for both dog and handler and this test will be conducted by another of the club's trainers.
